    Imagine owning a professional sports team; you'd have a team manager, coaches, star players and support players.  At Heritage Financial Advisors, clients are the owners and they expect top performance and excellent management of their team. Our team manager is Neil Craig. Neil personally brings a range of experience having worked in banking, retirement planning, brokerage, insurance and final expense planning. His greatest strength is in working with individuals and companies to identify and implement strategies for attaining financial goals. 
    Financial decisions are simply too important to entrust to any one individual. We take a team approach to best utilize strategies for offensive, defensive and specialty objectives allowing experts in each field to coordinate with Neil and his staff. 

    The offensive team is in transition. We are in process of "rebuilding" by establishing a Registered Investment Advisory firm which will allow us to utilize expert money managers chosen for the service they can provide to the client.
The defensive team is led by Fran Tarkenton, NFL Hall of Fame retired athlete/Entrepreneur, and his team of insurance professionals at Tarkenton Financial who establish the strategies for reducing risk.
The specialty teams focus on specific objectives, like employee benefits headed up by Agent-Link; 401k plans through Global Financial Private Capital, third party administrators and R Street Services; Health and Wellness Advisor, Alison Craig; as well as other legal and tax professionals selected in your area. 

    This is an All-Star team of financial professionals assembled by Neil Craig, Investment Advisor Representative and Insurance Broker.  Neil began his career in financial services in 1996 having graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications.  He began working for First Union National Bank, Capital Management division, Retirement Services department. 

    Learning the ropes of retirement services in one of the country's five largest banks provides an in depth understanding of not only the rules governing these plans, but a working knowledge of how large corporations work and more importantly how they treat their clients. Moving up through the company Neil identified and implemented a solution for corporate communications and resolving client issues.  A new department was formed, and in total Neil was able to save several million dollars of assets that were leaving the bank. He also acted as an brokerage agent for Evergreen Investment Services, a division of First Union. 

    Seeking a more personal approach to clients, he then sought to provide insurance services to people in the Kentucky market through Monumental Life Insurance Company. The role of a captive life insurance agent does not provide the latitude to recommend the very best products available in the market, so Neil formed his own independent insurance agency in 2004, Kentucky Heritage Insurance. Recognizing the need to offer more than just insurance services, Neil began a process of identifying a dream team of financial professionals whom he coordinated into Heritage Financial Advisors in 2010. Today, he serves clients throughout the country from his home office in Midway, KY.
